Harel Stanton's Lectures - Sep. 2003 Pompano Beach High School & FAU Jupiter

As part of the ‘Israel in Context’ lecture series, we hosted Harel Stanton, an ethnographical photographer and a professional lecturer from Israel. While in Florida, he gave unique multi-media slideshows: “A Photographic Journey through Israel: A Rainbow of Peoples and Cultures”. These presentations offered a new and refreshing view of Israel. They left a lasting impression on the audience, whether old or young. Harel combines his amazing slides with beautiful music. His interactive lectures offer a glimpse of what it means to live in Israel. The first lecture took place in ‘Pompano Beach Institute of International Studies’ in front of honors high school students. The second one took place on Sep. 8th at FAU’s Honors College in Jupiter.  The “Israel in Context” lecture series was made possible by FAU, BCC and a grant from the Executive Office of the Governor.
