Over the past 14 years, we have created or helped with so many projects. Let me tell you about just a few of them.

- Last year we worked closely with the Israeli Consulate in Miami and Greater Fort Lauderdale Sister Cities International to make the dream of a Haifa - Fort Lauderdale Sister City Sister City relationship a reality.
- We have also partnered with Enterprise Florida and the US Department of Commerce as well as the Consulate on outbound and inbound business missions. In June 2001, the mission was inbound and focused on the aviation and aerospace industries. The business leaders visited Orlando, Tampa and Miami; Florida-Israel Institute developed the contacts and organized the day of meetings in South Florida.
- On the cultural side, one of our huge successes that we are very proud of is a concert that we produced at Bailey Hall on the BCC campus in Davie in November 1988: Shomo Gronich and the Sheba Choir. We partnered with Florida Memorial College in order to bring together the African American as well as the Jewish American communities for this very entertaining as well as cultural and educational event.
- This fall, we partnered with the American Friends of Israeli Disabled Veterans to produce a show called 'Celebration of Life.' A group of very brave and wonderful Israelis performed to a full house, around a thousand people.
- We have also worked with Czech, Turkish, American Christian groups, too, always looking to provide worthwhile events for the community and to raise awareness about and love for Israel. August, 20002: April 6, 2003: 'Desperate Hours' documentary about Turks who saved Jews from the Holocaust; March 8, 2003: Exodus on its 40th anniversary tour.
- Recently we celebrated modern Israel's 55th birthday. We provided activities at the community celebration that took place on the Adolph and Rose Levis Jewish Community Center in Boca Raton like a lecture by Ike Seamans of Channel 6 / NBC. It was free to the public.

We would welcome your support to help us provide more and better activities. I always used to say that Israel is an 'easy sell.' We could say to critics, 'Go there and see it for yourself.' Now it's not so easy when people are reluctant to visit until things 'quiet down.' This makes our job tougher but also more important.

We would welcome the opportunity to talk about ways you can help too.
